Length - Up to 7 1/2 feet.

Distribution and behavior - This snake is distrubuted in southeast  Asia  from the eastern Himalayas across Burma, Thailand, Laos, and Cambodia to South Vietnam and Malaya as well as on the Malaysian archipelago, and the  Philippines.  It prefers thickly wooded regions in wet valleys and along rivers.
