Special Needs  Rescues

SAVE A SATO - (Puerto Rico Shelter with Placements throughout the US) - "Sato" is a slang term for "mixed breed street animals" in Puerto Rico. Save a Sato is a small,  non-profit organization of just a few people, dedicated to saving the strays of  Puerto Rico. The program is sponsored by American Airlines, so the animals are  flown at no charge to the United States to individuals, or to no-kill shelters to find homes. The animals are healthy, having been medicated and observed. The  recent hurricane has made the plight of these animals even more desperate.
