ODDITIES

In addition to the families already shown and discussed, many other families of fishes contain species that appear in petshops; some appear regularly, but some appear only sporadically.  Some are especially desireable, but some are very poor candidates as aquarium species. Many of them attract attention by the oddness, thus the name oddities, of appearance or habit, others by their reputations.

Because there are 114 species of fish classes as oddities, it would be nearly impossible for us to compile all the information required to give encyclopedia-like information on fish. If you are familiar with these species as well as other species, please let us know. 

NOTICE - Because there are so many species of fish in the world there would be no way for one person to be able to research and type the needed information for this massive work in a reasonable amount of time. If you have information to some of these species and possibly others please let us know.  We will be glad to give you the credit.
