ORIENTAL LONG HAIR

The Oriental Longhair accepted for championship competition by the International Cat Association since 1985, is the final stage in the micro-evolution of the Siamese cat.  As we have seen, when Siamese were first shown in England during the nineteenth century, seal point was the only color acceptable.  By the mid 1930s blue points were officially recognized.  Twenty years later chocolate points and lilac points (sometimes called frost points) were added to the list.
