    • American Humane Association has a website regarding the prevention of violence and abuse towards people and animals alike, where you can learn about current programs and contribute to the good cause.
    • Animal Assist.com Click on their free donation button to give to non-profit animal groups.
    • The Animal's Voice A lovely online magazine with articles, news, essays and poetry about animal rights. Includes a very stirring essay from a shelter worker.
    • The Ark Trust A non-profit organization which seeks to raise both public and media awareness of animal issues.
    • Art for Animals Art for Animals gives grants from money raised through the sale of artwork by such well-known artists as William Wegman, Louise Bourgeois and Jenny Holzer, to humane organizations, community agencies and individual caregivers dedicated to helping animals.
    • Cat Welfare Society Ltd. This non-profit organization funds research on cat illnesses.
    • The Delta Society The Delta Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving human health through service and therapy animals. Provides downloadable information about service animal access laws.
    • Doing Things for Animals This non-profit organization, dedicated to the no-kill philosophy, publishes the National Database of No-Kill Organizations.

    • The Feline Conservation Center A desert zoo located north of Los Angeles. Dedicated to protecting and preserving the world’s endangered felines.
